Czech paddler Tereza Kneblova won gold in 100.52 seconds, while Andorra's Monica Doria took silver in 103.04, Polish state news agency PAP reported. Zwolińska finished third in 103.21.

The bronze was the sixth world championship medal of Zwolińska's career. She won world titles in both the C1 and K1, as well as bronze in the women's kayak cross, at last year's championships in Australia.
Zwolińska, the K1 silver medallist at the 2024 Paris Olympics, also won bronze in the K1 at the 2023 world championships.
On Thursday, she finished 10th in her favoured K1 canoe slalom event.
Poland has won two medals so far at the championships in the United States.

The competition continues on Saturday with the kayak cross events, in which paddlers race head-to-head rather than individually against the clock.
The world championships mark the start of the qualification cycle for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Oklahoma City is also scheduled to host the Olympic canoe slalom competition in 2028.
